Nursery Site, Gloucestershire
Project Overview
This development involved the change from a plant nursery site to a housing development comprising 49 houses. epd wrote the Landscape and Visual Appraisal (LVA), undertook the landscape design masterplan, and wrote the Arboricultural Impact Assessment (AIA) to support the planning application. Throughout the LVA process epd designed the site to mitigate the built form and tie the development back into the wider landscape. epd produced the designs, management plans and specifications to support the planning application
The Site:
The Site is located in Gloucestershire on the A4019 to the northwest of Cheltenham, approximately 1.3km from the M5 and 0.8km from the A38 and the small village of Coombe Hill (see Appendix A, Figure 1). The Site is located within the administrative boundaries of Tewkesbury Borough Council and Gloucestershire County Council.
